Aboard the Contender 39
The Contender 39 is a 39 ft (11.89 m) sport and fishing boat built in 2021. It is equipped with professional fishing equipment, a live well and modern electronics, and carries up to 12 guests. It is also the boat behind our fast private transfers to St Martin.
If part of your group would rather swim than fish, consider a relaxed outing on the Lagoon 55 catamaran, such as the snorkeling boat tour.
What’s included & what to bring
Your trip includes a professional captain and crew, fuel, soft drinks and the boat’s professional fishing equipment. No boating license is required.
Bring sunscreen, a hat, polarized sunglasses, non-slip shoes, a light windbreaker and a camera for the catch. Share the children’s ages when booking so the crew prepares adapted safety equipment.

- Meeting point: Gustavia harbor, Rue de la République, 97133 Saint-Barthélemy. Pick-up at your villa’s closest beach or at a hotel pontoon can be arranged on request.
- No license needed: every charter is fully crewed by a professional captain and crew.
- Best season: the water is warm year-round (80°F+). High season runs from November to April with the calmest seas; for the festive weeks (December 20 – January 5), book 2–3 months ahead.
